TO the Feathered Arrow blog. I'M Kari! A WEDDING PLANNER, PODCAST HOST, BIZ EDUCATOR, AND A LOVER OF COFFEE, ALL THINGS OUTDOORS + A SUCKER FOR A GOOD LOVE STORY.
I always love it when my couples take engagement photos and share the albums with me! It’s a great way to get to know my couples even more and get excited about their big day. So, when I saw this desert engagement photo album for Dorna + Jonathan, I knew I had to blog about it. I’m a sucker for colorful + mid-century so seeing these photos taken in Palm Springs was the cherry on top. Check out their uber cool photos below!
I’ve shared tips + tricks for engagement photos before on the blog because I really do think it’s so important to get engagement photos done. First off, you get to know your photographer, which is so helpful to being comfortable the day of your wedding. Secondly, getting some practice being in front of the camera before the big day is comforting! And lastly, it gives you great photos to use for a variety of things: wedding website, save the dates, guestbook, and even home décor! If you’re feeling stumped on where to even take your photos, check out this engagement photo session featuring a list of places to ensure a fool-proof photo session.
Stay tuned later this year where I’ll share Dorna + Jonathan’s wedding from the Valentine in DTLA!
