I always love it when my couples take engagement photos and share the albums with me! It’s a great way to get to know my couples even more and get excited about their big day. So, when I saw this desert engagement photo album for Dorna + Jonathan, I knew I had to blog about it. I’m a sucker for colorful + mid-century so seeing these photos taken in Palm Springs was the cherry on top. Check out their uber cool photos below!

Why You Should Take Engagement Photos

I’ve shared tips + tricks for engagement photos before on the blog because I really do think it’s so important to get engagement photos done. First off, you get to know your photographer, which is so helpful to being comfortable the day of your wedding. Secondly, getting some practice being in front of the camera before the big day is comforting! And lastly, it gives you great photos to use for a variety of things: wedding website, save the dates, guestbook, and even home décor!
