Kari + Jeremy’s Autumn PNW Engagement Photos Are Here
Hello, friends! Hope everyone has been enjoying their holiday season so far. If you missed my personal update, I am engaged to my favorite person in the world! Meet Jeremy, my fiancé! One of the many things Jeremy and I have in common is our love of travel. So, throughout our relationship, we’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over the country together. (Pro tip: be sure to marry someone you enjoy traveling with and road tripping together with, haha!) When deciding where to take our engagement photos, we knew we wanted somewhere that we both loved and we immediately thought of Seattle. We both love Fall weather and the city so much especially after we took a vacation there last October, so it felt like a no brainer to head back up for our engagement photos. We have absolutely fallen in love with the PNW and decided it was the perfect backdrop for our engagement photos.
Planning Our Engagement Photo Session
There are so many things we love about Seattle, it’s impossible to list. There’s just a vibe + energy that feels kismet. Especially this time of year with the incredible fall colors (that we don’t quite have in Southern California). We started by securing a photographer who we knew would travel and capture exactly what we were wanting. Then we decided on some of our favorite spots around the city (another hard thing to narrow down!) The last piece of the puzzle was figuring out a day when the weather would cooperate with us. The PNW can be finicky with weather, after all. Once we nailed all those details down, it was just a matter of enjoying our time! We took some around downtown Seattle and headed over to Bainbridge Island on the ferry and then headed back to our hotel to capture a few more. I love how the photos turned out and how natural we feel in this beautiful city that has captured our hearts!
