A Bright Vineyard Wedding at Triunfo Creek Vineyards

Not your average vineyard wedding

I am so excited to share Katie + Ryan’s bright vineyard wedding from this past summer. Katie + Ryan were college sweethearts and their families were elated that their wedding day had finally arrived. It was a beautiful day filled with one of my new requirements for sunset photos: colorful smoke bombs! Kidding, but it was incredible and the photos turned out amazing!

When the bride + groom aren’t afraid of color

The floral design for this wedding is of my favorites to date. Instead of traditional petals, Katie and Ryan wanted it to feel like the flowers were growing directly from the ground and I just love the way it turned out. The pops of intense pinks, eucalyptus and pampas grass added amazing texture to this bright vineyard wedding. For the reception, we incorporated neon pink, orange and pastel blue from the menus, florals and signage throughout the entire wedding. They even replicated a sign from a favorite college bar, called Chuck’s, where they used to be able to write on the walls. Guests could  write on the sign and leave love notes for the couple. It was a fun interactive piece for guests and  a nostalgic reminder of the past. This wedding was proof that you don’t have to stick to 1 to 2 colors for your wedding theme. The sky is the limit.

Another beautiful addition was a wooden board that featured the words “I love you”. This was taken from a handwritten note by Katie’s late mother. It was such a special way to have Katie’s mom present at the ceremony.
