The best color combinations for your spring wedding

This year’s spring wedding color trends are all about tapping into subtle hues, and showcasing a lifetime of romance. Whether you draw inspiration from earthy, outdoor weddings this spring, or a more vintage feel, we’ve got you covered. Here are a few color combinations to inspire you for your spring wedding.

Slate + Moss

The color combination of slate and moss enhances an earthy, rustic aesthetic for any wedding. They’re subtle, muted colors and are well-paired with greenery. Try this in place settings, centerpieces, and allow the focus to be on the glowing bride and groom.

Is your groom is looking for a quick, time-saving tux rental? The Black Tux offers some great wedding tuxedo rental options. A slate suit would create a seamless, cohesive look when incorporated with bridesmaids dresses and venue decor.

Lilac + Green

Lilac and green offer a more colorful option for a spring wedding. This combo draws inspiration from fresh greenery and blooming florals. Incorporating a deeper green into floral arrangements can help to make other colors pop and bring your spring wedding to life. The eye-catching contrast between soft, bright hues of lilac and strong shades of green create the perfect combination that any guest would obsess over.

Blush + Grey

Grey and blush pair beautifully with florals for a vintage, classic aesthetic. Blush exudes romance and is perfect for spring. Meanwhile, grey is a soft, understated color that any groomsman can pull off. Simple colors give you the freedom to experiment with other fun wedding trends, like an artsy naked wedding cake. You can create a rustic, vintage, or colorful theme, depending on how you choose to decorate.

Ultraviolet

The Pantone Color of the Year, ultraviolet, is a bold and fun color choice. This out-of-the-ordinary hue is great to incorporate into subtle details of your wedding, such as groomsmen’s ties or touches in floral arrangements. A soft, mild grey pairs beautifully with Ultraviolet and would really stand out. Playing with color is a great way to carry out a unique wedding that people will talk about for years! (For another wedding with the Pantone color inspiration from 2017, check out this post!)
